STEREO READY is not your average band. They’re more than just guitar, bass, and drums. And they’re not about the same old songs.
The band plays tunes you love, and tunes you forgot you love from the 60’s through today – all in their own unique style.
A Stereo Ready show is an experience for every generation. Dance to classics and forgotten gems covering rock, pop, country, Motown and more.
Greg Potter – Guitar
Greg Potter heard the Beatles at the age of six and quickly followed in his heroes’ footsteps by taking up the guitar and writing his own music. He formed the power pop band Blank Pages in 1994 and has since released six albums of his original material with the group.
For more than 30 years, Greg has been performing live singing and playing guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums. Before forming Stereo Ready, he was a member of The Real Imposters, and spent 15 years performing with Beatles tribute acts Revolver and Almost Fab. Those bands appeared at more than 50 venues for thousands of spectators across the Northeast. He also led a rockabilly band called Hot Rod Diner, opened for singer Joan Osbourne as an accompanist for country singer Jim Six, and collaborated with Mick Chorba of the NJ bands the Dipsomaniacs and the Successful Failures. Greg Stephani – Drums
Greg Stephani first started playing the drums when he was 10 years old. Since then, he’s worked in several cover, original, and wedding bands. In the early 90s, he met Greg Potter and formed Et Cetera, a band that played originals and covers in South Jersey and Philadelphia.
After taking several years off to raise a family, Greg’s fire to play was rekindled stronger than ever in 2019 when he began playing with bands again, including BeerKanChikin, a three-piece rock band from South Jersey. After reconnecting with Greg P., he jumped at the opportunity to revisit their previous chemistry and join Stereo Ready.
Tim Stillmun – Bass
From recording song covers in his room to going to school as an audio engineer, Tim Stillmun has always been dedicated to the -sound- of music. After hearing the sound of the other two talented musicians in Stereo Ready, he knew he had to be a part of this trio.
A keen ear might be able to hear the punk energy in Tim’s playing from honing his bass chops playing in punk bands in college. Now building sound systems by day, he’s amped to bring the low end to Stereo Ready.
